Day 8

Today people went their own way. Some went hiking on different trails and Jan, Sue and I went shopping.  Was very excited to be able to find something for my kids and grandkids. Hope I did better than last year. It was a general store and had souvenirs, a post office and groceries. After shopping, Sue and I decided not to wait for St. George to do laundry and we were glad we didn't. Sue said it was the nicest laundromat in an RV park that she has  experienced. Makes you really appreciate having your own at home as you feed the machines with quarters.  After lunch Jan, Sue and I played another round of Mexican Train while the guys sat around and visited.  It was a beautiful afternoon with not a cloud to be seen.  It will be nice to get to St. George tomorrow and some warmer weather.  This morning it was 27 degrees outside when Rex and a couple of the guys got up and sat around having their coffee.  Only warmed to the low 60's.  Guess that is to be expected when you are at over 8,000 feet.
